A five-member official delegation from Tanzania visited Ghana from 17th - 20th May 2011 to undertake a working visit to the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) and SSNIT Informal Sector Fund (SISF). The delegation was being led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Hon. Gaudentia Kabaka. Other members of the delegation were Mr. Juma Muhimbi, Board Member of the Social Security Regulatory Authority (SSRA), Mrs. Irene Isaka, Director-General of SSRA, Mr. Ansgar Mushi, Director of Research Policy and Actuarial Analysis and Mr. Wanjali, Personal Assistant to the Minister.
The visit was to afford the team an opportunity to have a full overview of SISF operations which could serve as a guide for policy makers in the development of the regulatory framework for the administration of pension schemes in the informal sector in Tanzania.
Below are some of the memorable scenes during the visit.
